Solid sample analytics

XRF is analytical method that is based on X-ray fluorescence. We offer XRF analytics for unknown solid samples. XRF instrument determines all elements from sodium to uranium with one measurement. Samples can be in powder, solid or liquid form. We also offer XRD analytics through subsidiaries. If the sample is in crystalline form XRD can determine what compounds the elements form.

If there are many samples of same matrix standards can be made out of the samples. This is done by analysing the samples with ICP-OES and using the results as standard values for XRF. When the method is ready analysing samples of the same matrix is much faster than analysing unknown samples. Thus XRF is cheaper for samples of known matrix. On picture 2 there is standard correlation for calcium for process samples.
